Tourmaline
Tourmaline forms in long, rod-like crystals. The color range includes dark pink to red (Rubellite), blue (Indicolite), yellow (Tsilasite), brown (Dravide), green, orange, black (Aphrizite or Schorl) and colorless.
Tormaline is associated with the astrological sign Libra. It attracts inspiration, promotes understanding and lends self-confidence. Tourmaline balances masculine/feminine energies, as well as the chakras. It enhances healing powers and provides protection (black tourmaline is especially useful for the latter.) Tourmaline stimulates balance between the left and right hemispheres of the brain and enhances creativity.
